During our weekly co-op meetings, I was never able to get my 2 year old to sit with us for the activities. While I would never force a 2 year old to do “school” I did want her to be interested in some of the things we were doing. Solution?
Q-Tip painting our ABC’s! You get to work on ABC’s, colors and motor skills (painting!) all at one time! It captured her attention and she wants to do it again and again! I am pretty sure there isn’t an age limit, the older kids loved it too!
I wanted to share a printable I made with you all! There are three pages: ABC’s, abc’s, and 0-20. We so often start counting 1-10 that my 3 year old had no idea a zero was different than an “o” so I decided to start incorporating when I can!
Enjoy q-tip painting! It is a fun toddler activity!

Please remember, the printable is for your private use only. You may not alter or use for any other purposes without asking us for permission first!
Have you ever q-tip painted with your kids before?

What a fun idea! Thanks for the printable.

Thanks! Its a blast
We are moving through artists and different mediums, as we are, at the speed of light with my 7 and 5 year old. I so going to take this idea and use it for Pointilism and Seurat for my kids, they will love this and so will I! Thank you.
Awesome application! Love it!
